This family-run hotel is situated in the small town of Llanrwst on the banks of the River Conwy on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, central for major tourist attractions. Eagles Hotel aims to offer comfortable accommodation, good service and a friendly atmosphere in this old market town, located just 4 miles from the popular tourist resort of Betws-y-Coed in north-west Wales. Your hosts, Alan and Rosalie Wainwright invite you to come and experience for yourselves the magic of Wales. The hotel, standing in the market place of Llanrwst, is the very centre of this area’s social and commercial life. There is a wide choice of menus and you may dine in the cosy bar, outside on the patio or the riverside garden. All rooms are comfortably equipped with standard facilities, while the hotel also has Welsh Tourist Board gold rated conference facilities (accommodating up to 24 and 130 people).

The hotel is situated within Southend's tranquil conservation area, and enjoys spectacular panoramic sea views. Gleneagles is a Grade II listed building, which has now been completely refurbished bring it back to its former glory. The location is perfect for both business and holiday travellers with the town, transport links, theatres, quality restaurants and the pier/sea front all a few minutes walk away. The hotel's coffee house and residents' bar is a comfortable place to enjoy the view and relax with the papers. A full range of coffee and tea is served with cakes, light savoury lunches or snacks. Alcohol is served from 11:00 to 21:00. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, the hotel does not have a lift.
